Crystal Award wins for Target

Adding to its substantial list of previous Crystal wins - which include several Gold and Platinum Best of Shows - Target won a bronze and two honourable mentions at the 2008 Crystal Awards held in Toronto this week.

The Crystals, presented by the Radio Marketing Bureau, recognize Canada's best radio. As Canada's only awards show dedicated to the medium, it's extremely competitive, with only 10 entry categories. The Crystals celebrate the creativity and innovation of well-produced sound that has the power to conjure up images in peoples' minds and move them - to tears, or side-splitting laughter.

Target won bronze for its Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism Core Radio Campaign (Friendly People, Half an Hour, and Fresh Air), as well as an honourable mention in the Performance category. Target also received an honourable mention in the Agency Single category for Out of Time Billy, for A & P supermarkets.
